Bristol Motor Speedway Nationwide Starting Lineup: Kyle Busch Nabs Pole; JGR Teammate Joey Logano Fills Front Row

Kyle Busch will start on the pole for tonight’s Nationwide race at Bristol Motor Speedway after turning a lap of 15.979 seconds. Busch was the only driver to crack the 16 second mark to win his 23rd pole, tying rival Kevin Harvick, Jeff Green and Sam Ard for fourth on the all-time series poles list.

Busch’s JGR teammate Joey Logano ran an even 16.000 second lap time to earn a front-row starting spot. Elliott Sadler, who sits second in the points standings only eight points behind Ricky Stenhouse Jr., qualified third with Kenny Wallace and Jason Leffler rounding out the top five.

Stenhouse Jr. qualified 10th with Reed Sorenson (-9 points back in third) starting in the 18th spot.

Six drivers failed to qualify: Johnny Chapman, J.J. Yeley, John Jackson, T.J. Bell, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Carl Long
