Fantasy Racing Picks:

Target: Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, and Clint Bowyer

Avoid: Greg Biffle, Ryan Newman, and Juan Pablo Montoya

Analysis: Jimmie Johnson has led 15 or more laps in the past four races. Harvick’s strength at Chicagoland has rubbed off on Bowyer. Stewart has eight top-10′s in 10 tries. Biffle has only one top-10 (2008) in eight tries.

Bargain: Paul Menard had a breakthrough (P10) last season. David Ragan was a solid P12 also last season.

Preview- Notes:

-After failing to crack the top-10 in four previous trips at Chicagoland, David Reutimann won for the second time in his career, as he defeated Carl Edwards by 0.727 seconds last year.

-After 26 regular season races and 15 different winners, it comes down to the final 10 events of the season, as the Chase for the Sprint Cup begins this week.

-Dale Earnhardt Jr defeated Kenseth in 2005 by less than a second for his 16th career Sprint Cup title and the first of that season.

-The furthest a driver has come from to capture the race was 32nd in 2002 by Kevin Harvick.

-The construction of Chicagoland Speedway began in August of 1999, with the first race, a Nationwide event being staged July 14, 2001. The following day, the Sprint Cup Series debuted at the track.

-Next Race: New Hampshire Motor Speedway
