Austin Dillon’s qualifying lap of 156.808 mph was good enough to knock his RCR teammate Joey Coulter off of the provisional pole, earning Dillon his 10th career pole in only 39 career starts.

Rookie of the year candidate Coulter (156.410 mph) will start on the outside pole Friday night after surviving one last push from Johnny Sauter, who was last to qualify in Friday’s session.

Nationwide regular Elliott Sadler will start third with Ron Hornaday Jr. in fourth and Timothy Peters in fifth.

Sauter, who currently holds a 22 point lead over Dillon, will start from the sixth position. Parker Kligerman, Nelson Piquet Jr., Jason White and Miguel Paludo rounded out the top 10.
