Driver Watch

To Watch: Kevin Harvick, Ron Hornaday, Kyle Busch and James Buescher

Avoid: Ricky Carmichael and Nelson Piquet Jr.

Analysis: Harvick and Hornaday may be the two best drivers at New Hampshire Motor Speedway(NHMS) in the series. But, rival Kyle Busch is also strong, as he has won the past two races at NHMS in the trucks. Don’t look now, but James Buescher, the same guy that almost “stole” the win from Busch last year is back and ready to win.

Sleeper: The Thor Sport teammates, Johnny Sauter and Matt Crafton are excellent flat track drivers. With best finishes of 5th and 4th respectively at NHMS, the two teammates might just get that extra “break” of luck they need to go to the winners circle and hoist a lobster.

- After Austin Dillion won the Fast Five 225 at Chicagoland last Friday, the title fight gets even closer with Buescher now only holding a three point advantage over Dillion.

-In this race one year ago, we saw what many people wouldn’t have expected in the Camping World Truck Series, as Kyle Busch was challenged for the win by James Buescher until very late in the race. Both of these drivers are in the race on Saturday. Things could get mighty interesting.

-With the “title stretch” in full swing, every spot is even more important for the teams in the title fight. Buescher, Dillon, Sauter, Peters, Hornaday and Crafton are all within striking distance of the points lead after 18 of 25 races. That doesn’t mean those drivers are the only ones to contend with though. The improvements of Parker Kligerman, Joey Coulter and the resurgence of defending NCWTS champion Todd Bodine are making it difficult on the championship threats as they are now also contending for race wins.
