Target: Denny Hamlin, Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, and Jeff Gordon
Avoid: Jamie McMurray, David Reutimann, and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Analysis: Picking Jeff Gordon is probably the safest bet for this week, he seems to be on a tear (almost winning the last 2 races- New Hampshire, Indianapolis), did I mention he won this race last June?
Bargain: Brad Keselowski has proven he can contend for top-20′s, but can he recover from his accident at Road Atlanta earlier this week? He has been cleared to race, but it’s just a matter of how much his ankle/foot can truly take at this “technical” track. David Ragan’s P14 finish last August was his best since 2008 (P5).
Drivers Rating (Number of races- 13):
Denny Hamlin 118.6
Jimmie Johnson 106.4
Kurt Busch 104.1
Jeff Gordon 101.3
Tony Stewart 100.7
