After winning at Chicagoland and finishing second at New Hampshire last weekend, Austin Dillon continued his hot streak into Kentucky where he won the pole for tonight’s Kentucky 225 at Kentucky Speedway.

Dillon, who was the fastest truck in both the first and final practice sessions, was the final truck to take to the 1.5 mile speedway. With a fast lap of 179.874 mph, Dillon broke the previous track record en route to his fifth Keystone Light Pole Award of the season.

Grabbing the points lead after Saturday’s second place effort in New Hampshire, Dillon isn’t holding back one bit as he is trying to claim his first Camping World Truck Series crown. But it isn’t all locked up. James Buescher remains hot on his tail only being two points behind Dillon and keeping Dillon in his gun-sights tonight after putting his Tuner Motorsports Chevrolet in the eighth starting position.

Ron Hornaday,Nelson Piquet Jr., Brian Ickler and Justin Lofton rounded out the top five in Saturday’s qualifying session.
